so recently i was asked to photograph an event called Inspire. the purpose of this event is to create an outlet for Christians to express their passion for music, while at the same time, raise money and awareness for the Philippines flood disaster and for Haiti. its so great to see Christians come together to raise money for a cause that is outside of themselves. of course there is the enjoyment in listening to different artists perform, but all-in-all, it helps spread awareness of the severity of these different places. keep them in prayer!
happy holidays everyone! there’s a neighborhood over in torrance called ‘candy cane lane’ where the entire street is filled with houses with lights. it was really cool, so i headed over there with some friends. it was pretty nice to see some holiday spirit, even though i’m not so big on that stuff. the lights were gorgeous. merry christmas and happy new years everyone! enjoy.

i had a pretty good time at the university retreat. it allowed me to really reflect on being more mission-minded, and living more outside of myself. something so easily said, but so difficult to put into action day after day. i need to constantly remind myself to live for things bigger than myself, because that is what Christ desires for our lives: Kingdom-Minded living. i didn’t get to take too many pictures, but here are just a few shots from the retreat, thanks to my model, dag. enjoy!
me and my buddy, victor, thought we’d go and have a little fun at the nearby elementary school. a little trespassing, but for a photo opp! it was good. victor is a very photogenic person, and easy to work with. he hadn’t boarded in a while, so he was a little rusty, but none-the-less, i got some good shots. definitely a challenge trying to shoot with such dim lighting on a gloomy day. but enjoy!
friday was a city-wide tree lighting ceremony near my church. it was really awesome to see so many people come out and support something that is not directly related to themselves. i know for a fact that if there was a tree lighting in fullerton, i wouldn’t go. Christ truly brings people together! here’s a couple shots from the night. enjoy!
it is definitely the fall season. the weather is crisp, the leaves are changing color, and there are patches of dead foliage ready to be thrown in the air or frolicked in (not that i do that, haha). its definitely a good feeling, plus, Christmas is right around the corner. i decided to take a stroll out with a friend and catch the fall spirit in photo. enjoy!
